Other information include the goal of the proposal, reasons why the action is necessary, financial expectations, status of how things are standing at the moment, action on what the recipients need to do among other relevant information.

Step1
Getting started- Start your proposal by determining the need for that position. The position you desire might help solve a problem. Identify the pressing need of that position and create your proposal to suit those needs. Ensure your job proposal showcases you as a problem solver.
Step2
Emphasize on the Employer’s Benefit- You are expected to state the direct benefits of your involvement to the employer. Look for a qualitative and quantitative benefit to further strengthen your case to the employer. For example, if you are chasing a customer care position, research and get figures showing how many customers have left and how you can arrest the trend by quoting facts and figures.
Step3
Calculate the financial impact- In cases where it is possible, you can provide a financial justification for the position you are looking for. You can calculate the cost of position which includes benefits, salary and other related costs. In fact, a good job proposal will use the opportunity to project how much of an increase in revenue that is associated with the position or how the new job will decrease expenses.
Step4
Write the Job Description- Let your proposal show a job description for your employer to know what you will be doing 40 hours each week. Include how you intend to cover other positions. In fact, make the job description good enough in such a way that it can form a basis for annual review. Include skills, abilities, competencies, training and education that you have.
Step5
You are expected to match your credentials with your created job description. However, ensure that you are not over inflating or over selling yourself. Doing so will cast a credibility doubt on other remaining information you are putting up.

Create the document- Include a cover page, executive summary, table of contents and other sections to give it a professional look.

When writing your executive summary, you can describe the position and the benefits it offers in a brief and concise way. However, do not provide any support for your claims at the executive summary. You can do that on the body of your proposal.
