Step1

Write a project description. You are expected to describe the project in a detailed manner. You can make a statement that shows clearly how your research is relevant to your project. Now write a marketing statement. It is important to mention here that marketing plays a big role in website industry. You will have to describe your marketing strategy and highlight the marketing methods you plan to use. Make sure you explain your choice to the client in a short sentence.

This is one of the most important steps in creating your website proposal. You will have to prepare a budget spreadsheet. In this case, you are expected to list all cost that will be associated in the set up and maintenance of the website. Ensure you include cost of domain names, computer equipment and marketing costs.

When creating a winning website proposal, it is important to be specific about your capabilities. One of the best ways to do this is to refer back to the need of the clients and describe your experience in each of them. Note that the more specific you are about your capabilities, the more the clients will have fewer questions and the higher the trust to hire you.

Some clients will need a proof about your experiences. You can give your prospective client a visual example of past relevant work and reference one of their stated needs for each of the examples. In fact, try to offer references even before being asked.

Ensure your website proposal is well proofread before submitting. A website proposal with typos and grammatical errors will likely be a turn off for the prospective client.
