How to Save PDF Form after Editing

We love fillable PDF forms because it is much handier than a PDF form that you need to print, fill in and scan in order to send it back via email. Even though they are convenient, you will not be able to save completed fillable PDF forms; if there is a need to edit, you will need to refill the form. Step 1. Open Form with PDFelement

Upload the PDF form onto PDFelement by clicking the "Open" button on the Home window of the software. Alternatively, you can click "File > Open" to load your PDF form from local folder.

Step 2. Directly Fill in Form

If you have imported an interactive form, PDFelement will automatically detects it and prompt you with "Highlight Fields" button. Click on the button and then click the place where you need to fill in content.

Step 3. Create New Form

If you want to create a new form according to you needs, you can go to the "File" menu and choose "New" to create a blank document first. Then navigate to the "Forms" tab where you can have the options to add text fields, boxes and buttons.

Your cursor will change into a cross with a rectangle. Click and drag where you want to add the new item and release your cursor clicker when you have the appropriate size. You are able to edit the properties of the objects in the PDF form by double clicking on the object.

Step 4. Save Form

To save these changes, go to the "File" tab and click on "Save as". You will be prompted to choose the destination folder.
