With every passing day, a new rumor surfaces the internet suggesting the new operating system by Apple, iOS 10, will be even better than first advertised. The Cupertino-based company teased the new operating system at the WWDC 2016 event, but since the release of public beta, we've found out new and interesting features that will make iOS 10 one of the sleekest and best operating systems in a while. Without further ado, let's take a look at some of the new rumored features, and what they bring to the table.
iOS 10 New Possible Feature
Let's start with the new HomeKit hub, an application that fans have long been craving for. Apple had a HomeKit app for a while, but it was not centralized. Fans wanted a more centralized, and Apple-designed application, and the company delivered. In iOS 10, fans will see the new HomeKit app with all of the new features. The new app can be used on the iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch, making it a one-stop control solution.
What is the biggest advantage of HomeKit? For starters, you can now manage all of your connected products in a simple, convenient way. It is worth mentioning that not all accessories are functional and compatible with HomeKit at the moment. However, this is still beta version, and you can expect that to change in the full version that will come out with iOS 10 in September.
Another new feature that Apple will introduce in iOS 10 is the ability to delete stock Apple applications. Android fans have the ability to reduce bloatware by deleting stock apps, and even Samsung allowed removal of Touch Wiz bloatware since Galaxy S6. Apple fans have that opportunity now as well. It is worth noting that removing the app will not free-up disk space. Removing the app will simply make it disappear from the home screen or the folder, in the same way toggle works for iCloud drive application in iOS 10.
Now, for the how to remove apps section, just open a folder or locate the application on the home screen that you want to remove. Once you've located the application, push down lightly the icon of the app, and you'll notice it dancing after a few seconds. You'll see an "x" icon appearing in the top left part of the app icon. Tap the "x" and remove the app.
Imagine if you never need to listen voicemails again. That will be possible with the new way iCloud voicemail works in iOS 10. Apple is testing a way to make Siri answer and transcribe voicemail messages. Your favorite voice assistant will also be able to answer calls, tell the caller you are not able to respond, and much more. Everything will work thanks to Apple iCloud voicemail services, which will enable you to send and receive transcribed voicemails.
Last, but not least, fans can expect redesign for Apple Music application. The new version will feature new user interface along with handy features to improve the experience. Apple will ditch the colorful design, and opt for more sleek and simple black and white design. Some of the changes include larger album art, utilization of 3D touch for previews of music, Connect will be integrated into the For You section, a new "Browse" tab will be introduced to contain charts, playlists and new music.
And probably one of the most practical features will be integration of song lyric support. Before iOS 10, fans had to use third-party application to read the lyrics of the song they are listening in Apple Music. No more, as lyrics will be part of the songs now. Apple is working with music labels to make it possible.
