The first thing you need to do is to download and install Wondershare PDFelement. After that, launch the software and click "Open" to browse your computer so as to find the PDF file where you want to add the signature into.

Step 2. Put an Electronic Signature on a PDF

To add an electronic PDF signature to your PDF, you can go to the "Comment" tab and click on "Create Stamp > Create Custom Stamp". In the pop up window, click the "Select Picture" button to choose the picture of your signature. Click "OK" to load it. Then click the "Stamp" button and find the signature you uploaded just now. Place it wherever you want and resize it by dragging its corners.

Step 3. Put a Digital Signature on a PDF

Below the "Protect" tab, click your mouse at "Sign Document". Move your mouse cursor on the PDF document and draw the area where you want to sign the signature. You will see a dialogue box coming up.

If you have already created digital ID, just browse it out and import it into the program. If you don't have a digital ID, you need to create one. Click at the button "New ID" and follow the on-screen instruction. After doing this, you will be redirected back to "Sign Document", now your ID information will be displayed right in the box provided. Just click at "Sign" and your digital signature will appear on the PDF document.
