Wondershare PDFelement is offers you flexible PDF security settings. You can either add open password or permission password to your important PDF documents. By applying passwords it prevents unauthorized person from accessing the document or even changing it.
PDFelement enables you change texts, modify images, change pages, change font color, add annotations, and add sticky notes just to list a few. It is also a PDF creator and converter, which allows you to create PDF from existing PDF files, Images, HTML, screen captures and window captures etc. You can output PDF to formats like HTML, EPUB, Image, Word, Excel, PPT, Rich text and Plain Text etc.
Download and install PDFelement on your computer. Then open your desired file by clicking the "Open" button from the left corner of the Home window. Then select and load your desired file.
For Mac users, you can click the "Open File" button to import your PDF into PDFelement.
From the menu bar select "Protect". Protection functions will appear. Select "Password". A dialog box will appear. You can set a password from here. There have two sections. One is for open file the other is for permission. Set the password and click "OK".
For Mac users, you can go to the right side "Protection" menu and choose "Encrypt with Password" option.
