Redacting a PDF means hiding confidential information, names, important dates, place or other data for legal or security purpose. While using the hard copy of a document, you can use the black marker to hide or black out the information which you do not want to share with the other people. Redaction for PDF does that same task of the black marker, and you can even add more features in the electronic copy of a personal or legal file. After blacking out a word, whole line or an image in the PDF file, you can also put some text such as legal, confidential or security purpose to make it even more useful. The best part about redacting a PDF in a PDF editor is that you can even change the filling color and can also adjust the font, size and orientation of the text on the redaction portion.
Wondershare PDFelement does PDF redaction in a professional way. You can change the filling color after redacting your text, add new text on your color and can also change the whole appearance of the redaction. Moreover, it will also let you search for the particular text in the PDF file and mark the text with the one click. So, you will not have to navigate through individual pages or text.
PDFelement is the ultimate PDF editor to perform any editing on your PDF file, from adding new text to modifying already present text, deleting text to deleting images in the PDF file, all of the things can be performed with a glimpse of an eye. It is also a perfect form creating and form filling software, so, you don’t have to print out the form to fill and scan them again to email them. One of the best features is the inclusion of OCR in the software which will automatically convert the scanned images of documents into editable documents, so, you will not have to write the document in the separate file.
