When writing reports or compiling long minutes in the office, users will often end up with a huge amount of content intended for distribution. When reading such large documents, readers may get lost in the dense blocks of text while trying to pick out relevant information. When your superiors or colleagues cannot get the information they are looking for in your well-researched document, things may end up badly for you.
Wondershare PDFelement is a multipurpose, multi-featured application that was designed to take away the headache of manipulating PDF documents. It combines all the basic elements of PDF editing into one easy-to-use platform for individual and business use.
PDFelement enables users to view PDF files and edit text within the documents, much like you would do with a word processing application like Microsoft Word. However, it takes the editing function further by allowing users to upload and edit scanned documents through the OCR feature. It also allows users to bring together different file formats and combine them into one editable PDF document. Users can also convert PDF documents into other file formats.
Launch PDFelement on your respective platform. Then click "Open" and select the file from your computer or a connected external storage device. Once the document uploads, move to the next step.
Click the "Comment" tab to reveal additional items for selection. To select text for highlighting, click the "Area Highlight" button or the "H" button (The H button is short for Highlight) and drag the cursor over all text you want to highlight. Hold down the mouse button until you have marked all relevant text and only let go when you are done. Once you let go of the mouse button, the marked area will turn yellow by default.
On the Mac version, the highlight icon will be located on the top right corner of the application.
To change the color and a few other properties of the highlighted area, position the mouse pointer over the highlighted area and right-click to open additional options. From the drop-down menu, select "Properties". A properties box appears to the right of the window that allows you to change the color and opacity of the markup.
On the Mac version, the Properties mini-window appears to the right of the main window the instance you click on the "Highlight" icon.
