These format is easy to use and can be viewed from any device without changing its layout. With such a format, you may want to extract some text from it but you cannot copy and paste. On the Home window of the program, click on the "Open" option. This will allow you to access your documents on local folders. Search for the appropriate PDF you want to get texts out of it. After that select it and click on the "Open" button.
At this point you have successfully opened the PDF with the program and you will see your PDF displayed. To extract texts on the PDF, click on the "Home" tab followed by the "Select" button.
Now move to the text field and select the entire desired text field and it highlighted blue. Click on "Control + C" command and open the Word or text document and paste the content there.
If you want to strip text from a scanned PDF, you can import it in the program. And then click the "Perform OCR" button on the top notification bar. Choose an OCR language and click "OK" to make the document editable.
Then as the step 2 explains, go to the "Home" tab and click "Select" to get the text you want.
You can then edit your PDF after obtaining texts from it. To add texts or delete texts you need to navigate to the "Edit" tab. Click "Edit Text" and you will then have a chance to change font size, color and style of your PDF texts. After that go text filed and click on it to modify texts.
To get markups such as sticky notes, text box and highlight, go to the "Comment" tab and select the appropriate annotation tool. Lastly ensure you save your work to apply the changes made.
