Step 1. Open PDF with PDFelement

Launch PDFelement on your computer. Click the "Open" button ("Open File" button on Mac version) to import the PDF you want to edit. Alternatively, you can navigate through your computer and locate the PDF file you want to edit. Right-click the file and select "Open with > Wondershare PDFelement" to open the file directly from your computer.

Step 2. Edit Metadata in PDF

Once you have selected and uploaded your file, click on the "File" button at the top left end of the menu bar and select "Info" to launch the document properties box. Here, you can edit the title, subject, and keywords that you want to be identified with your document. You can also add or remove the author of the document under the Related People section on the properties box.

On the Mac version, click the "File" tab on the top menu and choose "Properties" from the submenu. Then you are able to edit subject, author, keyword and more in your PDF.

Step 3. Save the Edited PDF

Once you are done editing the metadata, save the document to commit the changes on the document by clicking "Save As" under the "File" tab. Editing the metadata associated with your document is that simple. Once the changes have been committed, take advantage of the application's numerous features to further edit and modify your document.
