Here's the step by step guide on how you can view the PDF metadata using Wondershare PDFelement on Windows and Mac. Download the latest version of Wondershare PDFelement on your computer, after downloading, you don't have to go through a complicated wizard, just double click and it will be installed on your computer.

Step 1. Open PDF File

On Windows: Launch the recently installed PDFelement and click on the "Open" button. Select the PDF file that you want and import it into the program.

On Mac: After downloading, open the file and move it to the Applications folder on your Mac. Once you have moved the file, it will be installed on your Mac. Go to Launchpad and run PDFelement on your Mac. Click on the "Open" File button. Select the PDF file and click on the "Open" button.

Step 2. View Metadata

Once the PDF file is opened, click on the "File" tab in the top bar and then select "Info" from the submenu. Here you will find the metadata of the PDF file such as the Author name, subject, Keywords, created and modified date and advanced options.

On Mac: Now, click on the "File" in the top bar and select the "Properties". You can also use the [Command + D] to open the properties. The properties of the document will be shown on the left side of the document. Here you can write down the Title, Author, Subject and Keywords of the document.
