Part 2How to Batch Remove Highlights from PDF on Mac

Step 1. Open Highlighted PDF File

Once you have installed Wondershare PDFelement for Mac, you can now open it on your computer. On the bottom right of the Home window, click on "Open File" and choose the highlighted PDF on your Mac. You can also upload the file by going to the "File" button on the main menu then click on "Open" followed by "From File". The program then allows you to select and open the file with the program.

Step 2. Mark the Highlights to Remove

With the PDF file opened on the computer, move the cursor to the tool bar and click on the "Markup" button. A sub tool bar will pop up. On the sub tool bar navigate the cursor to the far right and click on the "Trash" icon. A new window will pop up with all the mark up types supported by the program. Now click on highlighting and underline or strikethrough if you used them on your PDF.

Step 3. Remove All Highlights

Once you have checked the highlights to remove, you can now click on the "Remove" button. All the highlights will be removed from your PDF file within a few seconds. After that save your work properly and all the changes you have made will be maintained.
