Sticky notes are a helpful way of helping users in the office and in the classroom to keep track of important information on PDF documents. Just like in the physical world, sticky notes can be used to reference dates, tasks, notes, and other information on documents. They can also be used to add comments from different users on documents such as reports, legal documents, statements, and minutes that are being shared in a collaborative setting.
When the same documents need to be published, however, sticky notes and other in-text edits should be removed to make the document neat and presentable. Additionally, there are numerous applications online that can be used to remove all sticky notes from PDF on Mac, though many of these are usually not effective.
