How to Type on a PDF Form

"How can I type on a PDF form? I've tried Adobe Reader. It cannot save all the text I've entered in the PDF form. Please help." Whether editing or filling a PDF form, needless to say, you need to type on a PDF form. However, just as what the person have mentioned above, if you doesn't use a professional PDF tool, you will have some problems with accomplishing the task.

Step 1. Import a PDF Form

Generally, there are two kinds of PDF forms. One comes with interactive fields in which you can easily type in info, check the box or select an option from a list. Another one is a simple PDF form which might be generated from a Word document. There are no interactive fields at all. PDFelement enables you to type on both of the two types of forms. Launch the program and open the PDF form with it by clicking the "Open" button.

Step 2. Type into PDF Form with Interactive Fields

After opening the PDF form, all the interactive fields will be highlighted for you to type in. If you just need to fill out the PDF form, then type in info. That's it. If you're going to type text beside interactive fields, go to the "Edit" tab to select "Add Text" tool. And then move mouse to the PDF form, click on the blank area to type text.

Step 3. Type into a PDF with Non-Interactive Fields

Select "Add Text" tool under the "Edit" tab. And then move mouse over a PDF file, click the blank area to type on the PDF form. If you need to remove the original text, click the "Edit Text" button, select the text block and press Delete on your keyboard to remove the text.
