iPhone users are now normal with the battery issues problem; because the battery life seems to be reducing, with updating the software. Even before the launch of iOS 10 beta version, all the software user of iOS 9 faced the similar battery issues. Also in past days iPhone users were rapidly asking and blogging about how to resolve these battery drain issues.

However most of the users were still unaware that besides updating there are some other things that could affect the battery. iOS 10 beta battery issue is one of the reasons, why people are downgrading to 9.3.2. The question is that how iOS 10 can affect the battery life of iPhones? Well! It's not just a simple answer but a complex one. Even when people were not using iOS 10, they were still facing the same battery issues with iOS 9.

The users face battery problems as it drains, even if phone is on standby. Also if the battery power is full, it is automatically reduced and needs to be connected to a power source.

The battery issues were largely recorded on iPhone 6 and 6s after updating to iOS 10. However, the major battery drainage reasons are due to high brightness, more use of cellular data and web surfing relates to battery drainage. However there are plenty of other reasons for drainage in battery life.

Push Exange Accounts: One of the reasons behind battery drainage is also the exchange push account because it keeps on checking for new information, and therefore battery is utilized.

Hidden Location Services: One of the best features of iPhones is the location feature, but the drawback of this feature is that it drains battery.

Diagnostic or Usage Data: This feature sends data to Apple about how iPhone users uses the phone, also this feature run side by side when you use other applications which consumes a lot of battery.

Outdoor Brightness: Brightness is also one of the reasons why battery drains so fast, so only use brightness for outdoors, but when you are indoor avoid the brightness.

Part 2Solution to the Draining Problems

For fixing the push mail issue the change the settings to fetch from push, this will allow phone to check for mails after 15 minutes. To turn it from calendar, by going into settings and mail contact, turn off the push feature from there.

For fixing location services you just have to go to "Settings privacy > location services", tap "share my location" to switch it off then tap to "system service" and turn off everything, Also tap "frequent location" and turn it off as it tracks each and every location of yours. In system service tap on the "status bar icon", that will show you an arrow key on the top every time your location is on.

To stop the phone from sending data to Apple that consumes a lot of battery, go to "settings > privacy > diagnostic usage", and select the option don't send.
