Go to the "Protect" tab on the top menu and then click on the "Mark for Redactions" button. Then use the cursor to select the objects and texts you want to redact.
On Mac, click the "Redaction" button on the top right corner. Then move to the data you want to redact. Use the cursor to draw a rectangle to cover it.
Once you have selected the items, if necessary, you can change the color and apply an overlay of text or redaction codes. To do this, you can click the "Gear" icon on the top right corner of the interface. Finally, click "Protect > Apply Redactions" to save your work.
On Mac, click the redaction area to expand the Properties window on the right side. You can adjust the color or tick the "Use Overlay Text" option to add text and redaction code overlay by choosing the text overly button and entering the text you want to use on the box provided. Once this has been done, you can click "Redaction > Apply Redactions" to save your work.
