iOS 10 Beta Problems

Due to the everyday technological improvement, the Apple Inc. has introduced its latest generation of operating system, the iOS 10. iOS 10 is currently in beta stage and is only intended for developers. However, that has not stopped many advanced users from jumping the gun and installing the beta on their iPhone or iPad.

June 13, 2016 was when iOS 10 was released and a statement from one of Apple's top executive says it all. "iOS 10 is our biggest release ever, with delightful new ways to express yourself in Messages, a native app for Home automation and beautifully redesigned apps for Music, Maps, and News that are more intuitive and more powerful, making everything you love about your iPhone and iPad even better." said Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of Software Engineering.

However, there is no good thing that doesn't have its own bugs especially computer related systems. The problems of iOS 10 are equally as many as the good sides. Of course, there are some iOS 10 problems that you might need to know.

Major Problems of iOS 10

 A list of the bugs is as follow:

• Siri crashes if you ask it your name
• The "Update All" button in the iOS App Store does not work
• Even if you are interacting with any notification on the Lock screen, it does not stop the screen from timing out after 30 seconds
• Some widgets have rendering issue in the Today view and are cut off from the edges.
• With the Reduced Motion setting enabled, performance in certain system apps like Safari can be slow and sloppy
• In iMessage, sending more than 3 emojis will lead them to be sent in the normal text size and not the enlarged bubble as Apple had demoed

• While selecting an alarm tune, the default alarm tone will continue playing until you Force close the app
• Phone shuts off with battery to spare, but shows that it needs to be connected to a charger before it can boot again
• When you put your phone at random standby, battery drains quickly
• Multitasking with a lot of apps open can cause apps to start crashing
• The PPTP VPN type option from VPN configuration has been removed and remains unclear if this is a bug or an intentional move from Apple
• Even if you are interacting with any notification on the Lock screen, it does not stop the screen from timing out after 30 seconds

There are lot of other bugs in iOS 10 also. For example, using Force Touch to reply to a SMS from the lock screen results in the reply window freezing that cannot be excited by pressing the home button or by any other interaction. The only solution to this problem is to restart your iOS device at once.

All these are the problems encountered in the iOS 10, they are bugs that are really quite difficult to fix, hopefully in the next generation.
