Do you remember VIKI (Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence) from the movie "I robot"? Cortana is sort of the same assistant that has access to your applications, documents and apps you can install from the Store and is able to show web search results as well. With the help of Cortana, desktop search is faster and more reliable and the amazing thing is that you can make your Cortana interact with Jamie's Cortana next door! It seems that finally it's here! With their new browser made from scratch, the programmers at Microsoft have finally come into their senses and designed a browser with a new rendering engine that not only is slick and reliable, but also it can compete with the other browsers in terms of flexibility and versatility. Synchronized with Cortana, the Edge browser allows you to write and share your notes and comments from within the browser on the spot. By default, in Windows 10, you get to open your PDF files with Edge, which is quite good if your purpose is just to read the PDF files but what if you want to annotate the PDF? By default, you cannot highlight text, add comments or have a minimal amount of interaction with the PDF i.e. you cannot fill out forms, take PDF answer sheets and so on. It looks like that you definitely have to consider using a PDF Viewer and Editor when you switch to Windows 10.
