In the case of PDF file, you will need to have a good PDF editor to add text to your PDF files. Normally, the built-in PDF readers in Mac OS X, Windows, iOS or Android OS will only let you read the PDF file, highlight the text in it. In this article, I will explain you how to add text to a PDF file with ease.

Run Wondershare PDFelement which you recently installed on your computer. If you already have the PDF file, click on the "Open" button. For all those users who want to make a new PDF file, click on the "Create PDF" button.
As you want to add a text filed to PDF file, click on the "Edit" tab. Now, click on the "Add Text" button and draw a text box on your PDF. Then enter the content as per your needs. Once you have written the text, you can adjust the size and position of the text box.
You can also edit the text in PDF using PDFelement. Click on the "Edit" tab and then select the "Edit Text" button on the top. Now, go to the PDF file and double click to select the text that you want to edit. After modifying the text, you can change the font, size and alignment of the text in the Wondershare PDFelement. Moreover, you can also change the color of the text using the whole box under the "Edit" tab.
After editing or adding text in PDF file, don't forget to save it on your computer. You can either "Save" or "Save As" to complete the PDF editing. If the location of the file is same, click on the "File" tab in the top left corner and select the "Save" button, otherwise, click on the "Save As" button and select a location you prefer.
