If you do not install the product PDFelement for Mac properly, it may cause the OCR failure. So please drag the current product to Trash and empty it from your Mac. Then go the new link below to reinstall the latest version product. The right step is that after downloading the file, please double-click the downloaded file to install, then drag the icon of the program and move it to your Applications folder.

Then go to the Application folder to find the product and launch it, please load your PDF file in it to perform OCR again to see whether it works now.
